Pfizer:Some new Viagra-based impotence drug is going to go generic, and other drugs such as erectile dysfunction drugs are coming off of patent.
Viagra-based impotence drug was made by Pfizer when it was announced in April. Pfizer, based in Basel, Switzerland, was the company that invented Viagra. Pfizer has been working to produce generic Viagra since 2001.
The drug is currently only available as a 50 mg dose and as an 80 mg dose. But Viagra can be bought with or without a prescription. It’s not for everybody, and it’s important to talk to a doctor before taking the drug.
“We don’t want to make Viagra without a prescription,” said Dr. David Woodcock, professor of pharmacology at the University of Cambridge. “The fact that Pfizer is using the brand name for the drug and that the brand name is Viagra is also important.”
The drug is approved by the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It’s the first medication in the world to be approved as a treatment for impotence, and Pfizer said it is “well on track to have successful clinical trials”.
The drug is already available as an erectile dysfunction treatment, such as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. It is available as a 50 mg pill and as an 80 mg pill.
Pfizer also said that it will now make a generic version of Viagra, which is sold as “Viagra for men”. Viagra can only be prescribed by a doctor, but it is “well on track to be approved” in the US by the end of the year, and in the UK by the end of the year. Viagra is available as a 60 mg dose and as an 80 mg pill.
As of April 2013, Pfizer said it was “committed to the drug”, and had “considered” the “potentially safe”, and “will continue to pursue new research”.
In the meantime, Viagra will continue to be on sale in the UK, and it’s not a problem at all, Pfizer said.
Pfizer’s patent on Viagra was last year, but has expired on 1 April 2012.
The US Food and Drug Administration has approved generic versions of Viagra in the US, Canada and Australia.
Viagra is also available as a 50 mg and 100 mg dose. It is available as a 50 mg tablet, and the generic Viagra is available as an 80 mg tablet.
The drug has also been approved for use in women, and it is being approved for use in men.
